What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a powerful practice guiding clients into a hypnotic state of consciousness, a state of deep relaxation that allows them to focus, be highly attentive, and be open to suggestions. It is used to help treat anxiety, phobias, grief, trauma, panic attacks, unwanted behaviors or desires, sleep disorders, and relationship issues, among other life challenges. Providing a soothing and calm environment allows the client to readily access the subconscious mind - the Divine, Wise, and Higher part of one’s self where healing occurs. The client maintains full awareness during the session and can accept or reject suggestions.
Hypnotherapy is based on the idea that our memories are collected throughout life. Some remain in our conscious minds. Therefore, we are aware of them. However, many memories get lost in the subconscious mind, even when we cannot remember them, which is what hypnotherapy focuses on.
Hypnotherapy helps all individuals with different backgrounds, ages, and experiences. However, it is beneficial for those who have suffered severe traumas. Trauma greatly impacts our lives, even if a person cannot remember the details. Trauma can lead to phobias, intimacy and relationship issues, and unexplained feelings of guilt.
By accessing and relieving the source of the trauma, bad habits, addictions, or even stuck emotions, we can address and release them.
